All areas of Louisiana are available. Rural areas are paid at a higher rate.

The position is responsible for performing physical exams for prospective insurance applicants. Supported through a central office, Examiners are independent and must be comfortable dealing with clients in various locations. All work comes to you prescreened. Examiners work on their own schedule and are expected to travel within 30 miles of their home. Additional travel is voluntary and reimbursed at a higher rate.
Experience: Examiners must have computer skills, internet access and be skilled at navigating our web site (LaAPPS.com and APPSLive.com) to retrieve forms and information and to update client status. Must have documented recent experience in phlebotomy, specimen handling and shipping, EKG's, and the ability to perform a basic health exam including Height, Weight, B/P, Health History and Medication Review.
Equipment: Must have Phone and/or Cell Phone, Fax machine, email address, internet access, Stethoscope, B/P Cuff, small scale for weights, tape measure, EKG Machine and centrifuge. (Various options can help you obtain a centrifuge and EKG Machine).
